Good, Bad, Good

What a breakfast I had this morning! I had a fabulous bowl of raw oats, strawberry Chobani, pecans and fresh raspberries. The fruit added a whole other dimension to my breakfast and it was amazing! Oh and I had a skinny caramel latte too!

Lunch was not my finest moment though.

It started off fine and dandy with the basic salad fixings.

But then I topped it with a little Caesar dressing and some premade couscous and black bean salad that I got at Super Target. The combo of whatever the couscous was seasoned with and the dressing made it nasty! I ate it, but I wasn’t happy about it.

After my gross salad I had some pita chips and hummus.

At least dinner was fabulous! It was burger night and I went for a real beef patty instead of a veggie burger.

I used sourdough bread as the base…plus some ketchup, pepper jack, lettuce, tomatoes, grilled onions, avocado and pickles. It was goooood!

Now it’s time to back breakfast and lunches for tomorrow. Later peeps!

Quicky

I made a fantastic dinner tonight! I grilled a tri-tip that seasoned with some salt and pepper and a little drizzle of olive oil. On the side I made a simple green salad with a little avocado, tomato and cheese.

The highlight of my dinner was the grilled baguette topped with goat cheese and roasted red peppers. Holy yum!

I’ve already made our breakfasts and lunches for tomorrow so now it’s time to just relax!

Gross and Bloated

All I know at this moment is that I’m TIRED. The past few days have been insane. I was looking over my photos and I really don’t have much to show you! Here’s a quick run-down though…

Thursday I was busy at work and ended up going to happy hour at Karl Strauss. It turned out to be a lot of fun and I even got a free t-shirt out of it! No photos means no evidence of the shenanigans.

Friday started with a nonfat latte and a breakfast sandwich from Starbucks.

Lunch was a big salad and half a slice of pizza from Costco, but I have nothing to show for it! :) Then the really craziness began Friday night. A big group of people from work were getting together to see a concert at the House of Blues. Matt and I ended up getting a suite in The Gaslamp and a couple of my friends from work crashed with us as well. I had so much fun that I hardly remember having fun. :)

Let’s just say that Saturday I wasn’t feeling my best. After a crappy lunch at Joe’s Crab Shack we stopped by Peterson’s for donuts.

They are the best and most amazing donuts you will ever eat! I had a maple bar the size of my head.

Needless to say this is going to be a week of clean eating. I feel so gross and bloated right now that it’s ridiculous! At least I started my Sunday off right…with a bowl of pineapple Chobani, 1/3 cup 5-Grain oats and some pecans. Heaven in a bowl.
